Ways to give
Whichever route suits you, the money goes to the same place: grants to Bulgarian partners, awarded against detailed proposals. No trustee is paid, and we employ no fundraisers.
Ways to pay
Online
The quickest route. A card payment takes a minute, and you can add Gift Aid as you go.

Payment is taken by PayPal, in a new tab. You can pay by card without a PayPal account.

Do you pay UK tax?
If you do, a Gift Aid declaration adds 25p to every pound you give, at no cost to you. It takes a minute and covers this gift and any you make later.
Your Gift Aid declaration
Send this, and the button to pay appears underneath. Your declaration goes to our Honorary Treasurer; this website keeps no copy.
Thank you — your declaration is on its way. Now the gift itself:

Regular giving is what lets us commit to a partner for a whole year rather than one project at a time. Set one up with your bank using the details opposite, then tell our Honorary Treasurer so we can thank you and claim the Gift Aid.
Cheque
Made payable to Friends of Bulgaria, and posted to:
Friends of Bulgaria 50 Thurloe Square London SW7 2SXGift Aid
A quarter more, at no cost to you.
If you pay UK Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax, we can reclaim the tax already paid on your gift. It adds 25p to every pound you give, and you pay nothing extra.
To make a declaration we need your name, your home address, the date, and confirmation that you are a UK taxpayer. One declaration covers past, present and future gifts, and stays valid for five years.
You must have paid at least as much Income or Capital Gains Tax in the year as all the charities you support will reclaim on your gifts. Please tell us if that changes, or if you stop paying tax.
