Donations placed here are not individually subject to transfer fees and will be forwarded to authorised relief agencies – primarily the Bulgarian Red Cross – for distributing as needed.
In response to the current crisis, Friends of Bulgaria resumes its original role supporting humanitarian initiatives in Bulgaria.
Through our project partners, we can monitor situations as they develop:

-from Veliko Turnovo: ‘There is a big solidarity among Bulgarian people – I have never seen such a union between Bulgarians to help refugees – they opened their homes and hearts’.
