Thank you for being part of our traditional Christmas party 2024.
Please see below a summary of the event:
The party inclduded full attendance at the Christmas Party 2024 with colourful and musical contributions from the London Bulgarian Choir and junior choir Londonche in presence of Patron HE Ambassador Stoytchev and Honorary Patron Prince Kyril who had flown in specially for the event with Ambassadress Lybka Stoyanova drawing Raffle prize tickets and hand-made cakes donated to the auction generating fierce bidding.
All contributing to funds raised by Friends of Bulgaria for childcare projects delivered by ZOV and Karin Dom in 2025:
- Karin Dom: Early intervention therapy courses:
- weekly courses introducing parents and carers to therapy programmes tailor-made to tackle a child’s a- typical behaviour patterns.
- ZOV: Three programmes addressed to children and adolescents without parental care, often with a-typical behaviour and special physical and psychological needs:
- promoting instruction in life-skills
- support in education,
- facilitating expression and communication through music, dance and sport
- fostering social skills and team play
- mentoring support leaving care developing opportunities of work experience and further education
